Electron Distribution

 

Models the space in which electrons in different orbitals are predicted to be.

  1. Start with the Periodic Table or with a blank atom to which you can add electrons to any of the suborbitals.
  2. Change an atom’s oxidation state and then view in 3D what the orbitals look like.
  3. Rotate the atom using the View Controls or by using the left mouse button plus mouse movement.
  4. Compare 2 atoms side-by-side by selecting Split View.
  5. Export the model with Export PNG.
