Getting started

 

App opens with generic information that can be replaced. The steps to full use are:

  1. Open an existing file or start a new file from the File menu (the elipsis button on the top right on iPhone and iPad); by default, a new file is created when you start the App
  2. Modify the settings to your specific situation
  3. Input school-wide information
    Enter the school name and optionally set school colors and school logo
    Input the terms in the School Calendar
    Input Shared Breaks (e.g., holidays, parent/teacher conferences, etc.) that affect the entire school
    Input Shared Recurring Events (e.g., faculty meetings) that affect the entire school
    Optionally share
  4. Input individualized information
    Input Classes (enter these first because Personal Breaks can be set to cancel specific classes)
    Input Personal Breaks (e.g., scheduled PTO, field trips, etc.) that are specific to you
    Input Personal Recurring Events (e.g., faculty duties) that are specific to you
  5. Populate Calendar and/or Reminders
  6. Live a less stressful school year
